 Multiple PRs Set at Canyon Lake Hawks Relays
The boys and girls track and field teams participated in the St. Andrew’s School (SAS) Relays on March 2. Overall, the young team of athletes continues to improve, with 10 personal records (PRs) set by the boys in various events including the sprints, middle and long distances, hurdles, and jumps, and 10 PRs set by the girls in the sprints and middle distance races.

For the boys, the top-five individual finishes were recorded by Ethan Dang (’25) – 5th in 100M and Andres Patino (’26) – 4th in 300M Hurdles. The varsity boy’s relays also produced two top-five finishes, with the team of Cole Nguyen (’25), Ethan Dang (’25), Adres Patino (’26), and Nick Hodapp (’27) winning the 4x200M relay in a season’s best time.

For the girls, top-six individual finishes were recorded by Frida Hernadez Overa (’27) – 4th in both the 100M and 200M, Annabel Kadenacy (‘27) – 5th in 400M, Harlee Hillert (’26) – 6th in 800M, Claire Lawler (’25) – 6th in 100M Hurdles and 5th in High Jump, and Ruthie Zboril (’27) – 2nd in Triple Jump. Congratulations to all athletes who set personal records! The teams next compete at the Llano Jacket Relays on March 6, 2024.
