After a rolling start to the season, St. Michael's volleyball was listed as #3 in the Austin American Statesman's class 4A and others category with a record of 7-1 as of August 14 – Thrall was listed at #1 with an 8-0 record, Wimberley was listed at #2 with an 8-2 record.
The Crusaders also competed in this weekend's three-day varsity tournament at Bastrop High School, taking home the win in the Silver consolation bracket.
