The Crusader cheer team competed at the UCA cheer camp at Texas State University, San Marcos. The four-day camp offered skills training, tumbling, and new routines for the team to make their own.
At the end of day two, the team was ranked 2nd in evaluations for their Game Day routine. Day three offered the team 1st place in evaluations for their Camp Dance routine, with day four giving the team a 1st place seat for their Sideline Competition.
Eight Crusaders were nominated for the UCA All-American Team – congratulations to Haley Hallberg ('24), Laney Webb ('24), Reese Bain ('24), Sofia Buss ('25), and Gabby Messina ('27) for making the team!
Senior Haley Hallberg received the Pin It Forward award from the UCA staff for showing top qualities of a cheerleader at camp.
