The cheer JV and varsity team competed at cheer camp last summer at Tarleton State, with the JV team receiving two superior ribbons, the ‘Most Improved’ award, and won the Top Band Chant in their division. Both JV and Varsity received a bid to Nationals and finished in the top five at nationals in Game Performance, with varsity winning the Overall Best Showmanship Award.
Karolina Andarza ('26), Susie Fuselier ('25), and Laney Webb ('24) were nominated for the All-American cheerleading team, with Webb being selected to be on the team.
